It's great to see how once again, the Oilers bring our city of Edmonton together. Actually turning a horrid situation into something positive. The Bear radio station is trying to raise $10,000 to give to MacT on behalf of all the Oilers fans for being our spokesperson. The Battle of Alberta blog also has the same goal in mind and for those of you who don't live here, you can make a contribution through PayPal on their site. Kudos to both of these groups for their efforts!

Yup, as expected, the situation is dead. Bettman says that they don't "condone" the blunder and yet we have to "move on." Thanks for your support, Count von Count.
