I came across some pictures on the Oilers Community Foundation website of our guys reading to students during Read in Week. They are too cute...my heart just melted. Ethan, Jason, Jarret, Fernando and Steve are all in them. We love you guys!!!

Well, it looks like the Oilers are back on track. Not the most exciting game last night but a win's a win. I think I prefer watching us battle our rivalries in our division, rather than having the opportunity to watch superstars like Ovechkin.

I shamelessly do enjoy watching our boys defend each other. Displaying honor's such a turn-on. And all that banging up against the boards...the thrashing of limbs on the ice...aaahhhhh...if only...

I love all the guys, especially Ryan Smyth, Shawn Horcoff, Ethan Moreau, Ales Hemsky, Jarret Stoll, Fernando Pisani and Dwayne Roloson, but I've gotta say Steve Staios holds a special place in my heart. He is way under-rated (although he has been getting more attention this season with the way he's been playing so well) and plays his heart out every game. Tomorrow's game will be his 212th consecutive game played! What a workhorse and a leader too. Totally deserves the 'A' he's been wearing in place of his buddy, Ethan. Hope they sign him soon. Yup, go ahead girls, feel free to gush.
